It wasn't until 2008 when Neeson obtained action icon status with his performance as Bryan Mills in his definitive action film, Taken. Since than, Liam Neeson has become a meme of his own on the internet. People joke that there is something wrong with any scene involving Liam Neeson where he isn't killing people. Since Taken, Neeson has tackled old fashioned 80's / 90's throwback films such as Unknown, Taken 2, and Non-Stop.
