Career Summary: Vin Diesel is an American actor who made his first big splash in Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan WWII epic. He soon followed up that film with what was his first true leading action film, Pitch Black. From there, Diesel has bounced around doing all types of films, even a terrible Disney action comedy called The Pacifier that I saw in the theater! I am ashamed. His most notable roles are that of Dominic Toretto and Richard B. Riddick in the Fast and Furious and Riddick films. He'll soon be joining the Marvel Universe in a motion captured role as Groot, the talking tree. Diesel's films range from gritty R-rated violence to cheesy but enjoyable PG-13 action fare.
